First class medical with two DUI’s

Where did I ever say that the airmen would bypass a HIMS ame??? I simply offered the name of a lab where he could start his testing now instead of later. Also, if the airmen was out of town for longer than a urine could pickup ETG Choice labs would absolutely substitute it for a blood peth. It...

    HIMS Program Changes Imminent!!

Can you give us any links to some of these lawsuits? I would love for this to be true but suing the government is notoriously difficult even when they violate their own regulations like the faa does.

First class medical with two DUI’s

What about thru choice labs? Wouldn’t they testify to the randomness of the testing? Last time I checked they test more than 600 pilots

Where in the world can I find a HIMS Psychiatrist?

Once your package is submitted to the faa you will most likely be waiting minimum 8 months till the faa makes contact. If you are lucky they will issue the SI in their first correspondence. 11 months is a long time to wait to get in front of the HIMS psych. Did your ame make you wait that long?

    Childhood ADHD

That’s good news then. What happens when you go into your med express exam not realizing you need a report from a Nueropsych and the ame defers you?

    Childhood ADHD

Ah, yes. The adhd fast track, where you only have to wait 9-12 months to get issued.

Where in the world can I find a HIMS Psychiatrist?

The doctors at the faa are all scummy pieces of crap. So is faa legal counsel. Interesting how hard they like to come down on pilots if their regs arent followed down to the T but when it comes to them they just ignore you all day long and violate federal law.

Where in the world can I find a HIMS Psychiatrist?

How long did they make you wait till they sent it to you? Thanks for posting this. The faa tries to keep it a secret and they can go **** themselves.

Finally got my medical today after 7 months!

More than likely it’s going to be treated as a brand new submission. When in doubt just assume the FAA will make it take longer than it needs to, that way you don’t have any expectation and won’t be as disappointed.

Finally got my medical today after 7 months!

I don’t know if you’re asking when the faa requests more reports from you after submitting for an si or if you’re asking if you’re formally denied then ask for reconsideration. In both of those cases at least in my situation it took 5 months after giving the repetitive reports they asked for to...

Re-application for denied first class medical

That’s the typical timeline that I’ve seen from people I know in the HIMS program. I’ve seen it stretch out to 12 months after the pilot sent in more information the faa requested. It could be different with your case, maybe 6 months? Less? It also depends on if you’re a part 121 pilot then it...

    Bad MMPI Results

It’s a load of crap. They just want you to spend more money before they’ll issue a certificate. The faa are pros at requiring people to do unnecessary tests and **** away money. They live to say you cannot fail an mmpi and then things like this happened. You have to make sure all your answers...

Re-application for denied first class medical

They didn’t review the packet. This is a game they love to play so they can claim they have a huge backlog and need more funding. Scumbag bureaucrats that do below the minimum and keep their job. I hope you hear something soon. If you’re a ssri or alcohol case you’re going to be waiting another...

SSRI Deferral/Round 2 Application for Class 3 Medical

It’s all about money. If the airline wants their pilots flying again the faa always obliges. Kind of like how the faa would let Boeing self certify with little oversight. Air travel is an essential part of the economy and the garbage doctors at the faa aren’t interested in safety. They want to...

SSRI Deferral/Round 2 Application for Class 3 Medical

If you were flying for an airline you’d be back in the cockpit in 12 months. But for some reason when you’re not flying hundreds of people the faa is less lenient in getting your medical back. You’d think it would be the other way around but the faa is full of corrupt, dishonest and lazy...

SSRI Deferral/Round 2 Application for Class 3 Medical

If the faa or your ame are aware of the on and off again drinking since January you’re probably looking at another 3 years till you have a medical in your hand. If they were not made aware of that I’d probably say 12-18 months. As far as the ssri I’m going to probably say the faa will want you...

    HIMS Backlog

Yup. It’s a pretty ****ed up process that nobody should have to go thru and it’s all created as a direct result of faa incompetence. If you request your “applicant notes” from faa records dept it will give you an outline of where your file has been and who currently has it. You’ll have a name...
