    Flying KCXO to KHND

I stop at KLRU - Frost Aviation there has self service fuel for $4.99 and they're just friendly folk. I fly my pa28-180 from Las Vegas to Texas regularly at 11,500 - much prefer the I10 corridor over I40, though the views on I40 from ABQ to FLG are nicer.

    Rachet tie down question

I have these on my pa-28; been tied down outside in (admittedly occasionally) windy Las Vegas. Year 5 and no problems so far - although the high UV has probably degraded their strength enough that I'll be buying another set after this summer.

    Minimum Oil Level

O360 - capacity 8, anything above 6 ends up on the belly! (I takeoff at 6, and add one at 5)

I file with Lidos - you get a text message confirming receipt and then IF there's a change, another text with the new routing. Simple/free.

KFXE / Fort Lauderdale Exec - FBO?

I use (and recommend) Banyan with one caveat; problem is that damn pilot store - I ALWAYS ended up buying something...

What are Currently the Best EFB’s for IPad?

I'm firmly with FlyQ - unlike Garmin Pilot as 'iamtheari' says, which takes many taps to get to what you want, FlyQ was specifically written to ensure your only need a total of 2 taps to get from anywhere to anywhere - I love that concept!

    Approach plates in Garmin 660

my 660 is hardwired too and I find it VERY useful, yes you do need to zoom and see only part of the plate, but it avoids having to look down at an iPad - excuse bad photography..

I believe he'll make it in any color you like. (got mine from the original designer in England, but fairly sure this guy uses the same 3D file to print)

My May vote based on my trip last year in a 115kt plane; Vegas to Florida. -outbound I10, inbound I40.

    Dynamic Prop Balancing in California

Certainly - General Aviation Co in Fullerton (KFUL) - guy called 'smudge' did mine. He's a bit of a perfectionist which means it'll take a little longer than elsewhere but suits me!

    Left-handed + left seat + IFR = tangled arms

I too am left-handed, and just permanently keep a pen/pencil in my hand - try it - was life changing decades ago when I saw someone else do it.

PPR and Landing Fee Nonsense Again in Vegas for Superbowl

The issue in Las Vegas (both KVGT and KHND) is the FBO is actually the county, not a private entity which could be 'bypassed' in normal airports.

    KBDN-KLAL

Flew it last year from Las Vegas to SnF in my Cherokee; stopped in Sedona - KSEZ - simply because it's stunning there, then ABQ, then thru several uninteresting stops in Texas , thence mostly followed the coastline with a few 'inland' fuel/rest stops. Return trip was purposefully longer to sight...

    Aera 660

Look at my earlier post (10/14) with photo - 660 absolutely DOES show geo referenced approaches, that's (mostly) how I use it

ForeFlight Now Requiring IOS 16 or Higher

Good and bad news; not the same size, you will need a new air gizmo dock. Good news though... the new dock's external size is identical to yours so it will fit in the old hole. $140 and minimal install time.
