Looking at a lancair 320 but one of the airports I use has a dirt runway, approx 4K ft. It’s well maintained but I’m wondering if there are good mods for rock protection or if it isn’t as big of an issue as I am imagining it could be.

Yes, purchased it am looking forward to training with it. Got to haggle the price a bit due to some missing paint, had some chips on the wing tips and spinner. Hope to finish my rating with it and sell without losing my skin to upgrade to a bigger plane. Probably should have just rented but...

Which part? Indigenous I presume? Northerners diet on the coast can vary widely then that found in the interior, along the Aleutian Islands, and down the southeast panhandle. Of course if you are curious about the city menu's...a popular choice is mcdonalds and subway.

Wouldn't that push the MP higher? It's -4K ft right now and not unusual to see greater...or lesser? Then 7k.

Thanks. I am running xc20-50 with camguard year round. I replaced the Gil with an odyssey battery, I have been using the red heet. I didn't read much online about the Cessna winter kit, and the poh is no help. I'll leave it off and monitor oil and cht temps after taping. Is it worse for wear...

Just curious what you folks do for winterizing. I was planning to tape off the fresh air vents, and tape the oil cooler to bring up the oil temps. Right now I am seeing less then 140* if the gauge is to be believed. I have the factory block off plates from cessna, but I have read it can cause...
