    St Barths anybody?

As Mtuomi said, First year captains easily make about 80K and after a couple of years, you should be way above 120K a year. Schedule is pretty good, Little to none night flying so you're always on the ground before sunset and airborne after sunrise most likely. Heres another video from couple...

    St Barths anybody?

Somewhere between 80 and 90 is a good number. Those hills are pretty close when you fly a plane that will do 200+ knots easily. Sadly, theres no Instrument approaches to this airport. The best option is shooting the RNAV into St Maarten and breaking off direct to St Barths once you have visual!

Yup. TJIG is usually using RWY09, however, when wind shifts, you get to see big jets like Gulfstreams, Challengers etc, landing this way! definitely a treat for the pilots and the people on the road next to the approach end!

    Talking to ATC

I believe taking the Tower tour is the best thing to help new pilots get calm when speaking to an ATC... meeting an Air Traffic Controller gives you the reality check that you surely are speaking to another human being that has an understanding mind, not a machine that requires a certain input...
