It is a great time. Dip your very own bottle of Makers Mark in the red wax. With the warm weather, things are starting to green up already. Late Mar through May will be very colorful too. We flew in to Bardstown and got a rental car. KBRY-Samuels Field. Have fun.

What happened to model airplane kits?

Yep. Gentle requests usually do not work with my 13 yr old. Turning the circuit breakers off seems to help. "Son, when the work is done, you can go back to your games." He is a big help once he gets going, as long as he did not get back up and play games til 2 AM. Then he is a little grumpy.

JetBlue Near Miss With GA Plane

They said the "little plane" dove, so they may have heard this from the little plane as it flew by... Or maybe the little plane's pilot and passengers screaming.

JetBlue Near Miss With GA Plane

I have been saying it wrong for years. Old French. Reporter says, "Upon descension..." See if ATC notices next flight. N123XX, starting descension...

It's expensive using the wrong engine lubricant...

This is even more upsetting. We usually had 90% flyable when I was in, 88-93. Sad. "The replacements come at a time when the Navy says that half its aircraft can't fly because they're awaiting maintenance or lack needed spare parts."

    Buying Stuff from Overseas Companies

I am bad for TD. Sorry. We're enjoying each others company though.

    Too low!

It took me some getting used to that high sink rate with shorter wings, heavy nose and CS prop after flying a 172 for 3 yrs. If it gets under 70 kias on final, at full gross, better be ready on the throttle. I bet they install some orange balls on those lines. Glad they made it. Tough plane.

On top of that, he got to have Eastern Cincinnati Aviation's(from I69 home of Sporty's) planes flying over all the time. Where I did my training in 2008.

    Buying Stuff from Overseas Companies

Even if companies start moving back, I don't see them giving up their rediculous $5-30M salaries. I don't blame you one bit.

    Under the clouds

ATC..."Radar contact lost, you are coming in broken and unreadable." Pilot..."Cancel FF."

    Under the clouds

1.2 seconds later, as ATC sees a 180 being performed..."Say intensions?" Pilot..."Maintaining VFR. Descending to 5,500 before proceeding on course to destination." ATC..."Roger".

    ...and walked away.

Power setting for slow pass, crosswind practise

One off of the nose wheel. If plenty of runway, just re-flare and touch down at the proper airspeed.

Then do low altitude steep turns around the REIL.

Then I have to do a 180 and equalize the wear on the other tire.
