    Has Scientific Notation Changed???

I ran into that a few times in torque specifications at my former place of employment. "100, +0/-8 ft.lbf torque. Set torque wrench to 100ft.lbf." Doing so, means taking a torque wrench, whose accuracy at the 100ft.lbf cardinal point is +/-4ft.lbf, and using it to torque said bolt. Well...

    ECI again......

So... Where are the serial numbers located on ECi jugs? Might as well verify that mine are or aren't ECi's. Sigh. Just spent one kilo bucks on a GM product that should never have failed, and now am looking at this, if I have these jugs. Double sigh.

    Gaston's in October

Hmmmmm...... So that's where that mud on my left wing/stab came from! :D Looks like I picked the roughest track on the strip. Didn't climb as well as I wanted to either. Glad I was almost out of gas (as I had planned). I need to practice staying down in ground effect better too. I hear...

    NA- Different looking Navy ship

I for one don't like it, or them--the whole littoral concept. You're right, they are gas turbines, and have to stop by the friendly neighborhood supply ship all too often. also, they are inefficient, and big fat targets. I also don't like this idea that we don't need to worry about the sea...

    Gaston's in October

Those are absolutely "loverly" photos, Diana! Well, except for the one where my ugly mug cracked the lens! :D I looked at the video of the deer that my still camera took; it wasn't very good at all. Part of that may be the operator--I've never used the video mode before:redface:. If'n it...

    182 oil temp workings

Waidaminit! They call you, saying "It's broke" (implying *they* broke it), then charge you? Methinks you "otter" go down to the FBO and gently, kindly correct their error. Bet it wasn't broke before you handed the plane over to them to r/r the starter...
