Re: FAA Baed Aircraft Inventory Requirement... Back online now. Some of the back story is, morale is quite low here. Used to be a waiting list, but many have chosen to go to fields where rent is much higher. Our local pilots' club used to meet on the field; we used to give rides for $__.__...

I was taught to use pitch and power to maintain airspeed and rate of descent without the rote power settings. That said, I fly a Cherokee 6 with a huge CG envelope and my landings get better as I load it. I think this is due to the elevator being having more authority as the CG moves aft. If...

Speaking of slide rules, we on Bainbridge (CGN-25) were appalled when the nuggets from nuke skool started showing up with TI-30 scientific calculators! :yikes: Those nubs didn't even know how to use a slide rule! We wondered how they would even be able to stand Reactor Operator watch!:D
