My checkride is scheduled for Saturday 5 May. Initially scheduled for 24 March but after completing the Oral part I couldn't fly because of weather. Then scheduled for 21 April. That was also cancelled due to weather. Hopefully it will be good next Saturday.

I too wondered if I needed the electronic E6B. I didn't get it and got along fine with the manual one. You can learn the manual one in a very short period of time. Do some flight planning with it. I think it's actually easier to use.
