I understand, but the thread was about why they have "Call for a Price" and why they do it? Not why can't you make an offer. I have made low offers myself and bought below market value on several things.

Not at all. Lets say fair market value of a plane maybe $50k-$65k and the seller is asking $75K, I would not even talk to him. If the seller is asking around $65k and you think it might be worth $55k, that's a fair offer but justify why.

You can offer "what it is worth to you". I am talking Low Ballers; people who want to offer ridiculous low prices for something. Now if "what it is worth to you" is far below market value, then it is a low baller price. :)

Not me!!! I look at it this way.. When you jump out of a plane, you are going to die until or if the chute opens. The only time I would use a parachute is when it is the lesser of to evils. :)

I bought some new stuff and some used stuff. The Audio and GPS WAAS 400 WAAS were used the COM/NAV, Com and transponder new. The Shop I use is new and at my home airport. Worked great. I have the upper CDI going to the 400 and the lower going to the Com/Nav.

Being a big guy I love it plus the two doors.

In the three planes I bought I went and looked knowing about what I wanted to spend on it. Looked it over, flew it and if I liked it made an offer right there contingent on pre-buy inspection.
