Ive been in the C152 for 12 hrs., now the Remos

Dont you talk about my training girl like that!! I heart her. :) But yea. 6'4" is tough in a 152. I feel like I am a contortionist when I climb in. CFI? 6'5" Good times. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 4

The buffet is odd. The plane stays fairly flat but you are dropping. Our center and left throttle work great. Sorry you had a bad experience. With my few hours and lack of access to an eaglet I will have to take your word that your choice of the two is a better aircraft. I don't see this as...

Our club just picked up an 08 loaded Remos with 110 hours on the Hobbs. Everybody in the club needs a check ride in it by one of the CFI's, so I said what the heck. Wow, that plane is such a blast to fly! On our first landing I missed the numbers on a 5200' by 50 feet or so (not bad)...

Good PDF download site for a POH?

I am looking for some info on a 1966 C150F in particular. I see gobookee.com, but it is asking for a 'credit card verification' to begin a download. Nope. Any free sites out there to get this kind on info?

Good point, but again aggy will get 10 wins and this year mizzou will as well. I dislike the aggies as much as the other guy, but that post was more of an anti-SEC rather than a pro-aggy. It has been said for years that other conferences cant hold a candle to the SEC. Primarily the media...

Nebraska is a dumpster fire. The fake injury by the auburn player at the end of the 3rd was pretty poor form on the behalf of auburn coaches Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

We always have ground school for at least 30 minutes talking about maneuvers. The only one he didn't do on pre was engine out but we had gone over it previously. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

I am late to reply, but I think the point was that the two "middle of the pack" B12 teams are laying wood in the big bad SEC with B12 recruits. The media says they are big and bad, especially CBS and ESPN, so it must be true. :) Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Its perfectly fine to discuss and compare solos, check rides, etc. The CFI is the determining factor when it comes to signing off on endorsements. I'm fairly sure no student would tell their instructor "but on the internet I read.....". Talk about a laugh! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

One of our CFIs that helped on the decision on the Remos said the same thing. He said he took off in one a few years ago in FL and he was at 1000 feet before he cleared the runway. Sadly, being a new plane for the club, it is going to be BOOKED SOLID for a few months until the new wears off...

Update: About 60-70 hours of looking at a computer monitor (King school online course) and just under 10 hours yoke time. Ive done stalls, maybe 25 TOs and landings, simulated lost engine at 1500 and 3000 feet near and away from airports, etc. So the next time up we are likely going to do...

Im not worried about that statement from him, he is a safety first kind of guy. The club has started a new direction with student learning. I took it as more of small talk from him getting to know me. I am a 'technical' type of personality who pays attention to detail and he has figured that...
