    Annual Inspection at TAS Aviation

Just wanted to share our experience with TAS aviation. I have read many things on this forum about the quality from TAS. It Was different working with a shop that knew the ins and outs Of the airplane. I learned a ton through the process. Everyone was great to work with. I am not endorsed...

    In Destin May 26-29th

I know it’s short notice but if anyone wants to meet up in Destin this week we will be down 26th-29th. Had an opportunity come up for free lodging and we couldn’t pass it up. If anyone will be down there and wants to meet up I’ll buy the first beer.

    310 Twin Cessna Annual Inspection

We have owned our 310R for about a year and a half now and have spent lots of $ upgrading and fixing squawks. I never really got an extensive pre-buy like I should have. I decided to follow in the footsteps of @Radar Contact (story of my life it seems... lol) and take it to TAS aviation in...

Does Avidyne play with Garmin G5 and legacy AP?

I have flow behind a IFD440 coupled with dual G5's and it works great. I don't think the shop ever fully got all the bugs worked out. We sold that plane and kept the 440. In our twin we went with dual aspens. The aspens are a different class of product that the G5's. Far more information...

    GoPro Audio-In?

I will echo what @Martin Pauly described. This is the same method we use minus the attenuator. All of these small action cams are really sensitive to EVERYTHING. Heat, power fluctuations, audio signals, etc. I have seen them do some really silly things when they are in the air. I would highly...

Apsen 2000 Pro Max and the rest of our avionics

I do a quick video of some of the high level features of our Aspen 2000 ProMax as well as a quick tour of the rest of our avionics. If this is something you enjoy please let me know. I feel like maybe a deeper feature explanation might be something that is helpful. Thanks for all the support guys.

Where's your go-to place to fly?

Would love to get to Cedar key. Don't think I am getting the twin in there anytime soon though.

Where's your go-to place to fly?

Thanks britanyweel. We really love Destin. It's intimidating for a lot of pilots but really not hard to navigate in / around the area. Other than being a little on the pricey side, it's dang near perfect. Oh - and transportation. Uber /Lyft - TERRIBLE service.

Where's your go-to place to fly?

Went to SGS once and it was a great experience. We have never flown north east or really west. Gonna have to expand and check a few of these places out.

Where's your go-to place to fly?

The hard part is deciding if it’s hot and the bubble will pop or if it’s still climbing for a while.

Where's your go-to place to fly?

We did a video on this. It’s not the greatest explanation but it gives you a reference. I mis identified field 2. But other than that it shows you the details of what you’ll have to do.

Where's your go-to place to fly?

The public beach access at the back porch is our favorite spot. I really have only been for quick trips. I’ll be down the end of this month. Other than that we really haven’t had time to explore. Ubers are always hard to get because of all the free money floating around.
