200 hours on massive plugs is pretty good. I have about 900 on a set of tempest fine wires, with only one failure at the 800 hr mark. Even a tempest resistor can go bad, but they do usually last longer. I remember on r1830's and r985's that if we got a 150 hours out of a plug we were happy.

With a tube, vs a pull through valve stem, what is the possibility of more than a couple beads being slung into the valve stem and not be able to roll around and do their job. Also I assume they will all run around the same circuit while the wheel is turning. Tubes are much thinner than a tire...

Not sure if it's cpdlc dependent or not, but WSI weather brief can pull up your clearance. Trying to get a full route clearance some times we would hit refresh on WSI and the clearance would be there. So it was already written down in the app and was easy to read back.

Cleared via is to follow the lateral portion only. Descend via means to do both altitude and lateral. He should have said cleared via maintain xxx altitude. But if you ever have a doubt, it's best to ask then and there.
