Regarding pipe soldering......has the solder changed in last 15 years? I soldered some joints 15-20 years ago and it was relatively easy......tried to do some recently, different materials and I could not get the damn thing right.

Maybe they didn't clean it up from landing configuration.....stalled on departure....yanked up the flaps for the go around eventually......pure speculation but something is really fishy.

Oooh, I am intimidated a Wikipedia reference. I have been flying GA for 25 years, have maybe 700 hours in piper products, and never once heard of a challenger and I suspect that most pilots haven't either. And I stand by my PC reference, this country is getting to be a bunch of sissified...
