    Aircraft Sheet Metal

Just a warning on freight, the carriers have abiut doubled the overlength surcharge, probably averaging $200 for surcharge only and Old Dominion just told me it is going to be $1000....eff them. Angry and ****ed small business owner.

tractor repair question - since you guys are pretty smart

I like the idea of draining it completely and solvent flushing, but I think the oil in the transmission case is also the oil used to run the hydraulics so I see a bigger problem doing this. Don't know how the cases are all divided, but thinking will drain it all, let it sit and then smear some...

tractor repair question - since you guys are pretty smart

First of all I know what I am about to propose is not the "right" way to do this. Have a small 22 HP Kioti tractor and the engine frame/transmission is leaking between the component pieces. I had my internal guys repair a broken shifting mechanism and I am guessing they did not put a new seal...

Tubed tires - Why oh why do they leak?

The true problem is you are leaving the summer air in through the winter and vice versa. Get that correct and nitrogen molecules leaking won’t make any difference.

    TSA delays......

Had to fly with the peasants and unwashed masses today and American (still sucks) sent me email saying TSA was experiencing delays and to arrive 2 hours early....I compromised at 1:30 early.....by golly the line was backed up and they only had one lane open....I am precheck so I zipped through...

    Plumbing Question

I have a vague recollection that you aren’t supposed to use non permanent connections inside walls, there are 2, the rubber piece and the standpipe. Don’t quote me on that.

Fluid (unburnt oil maybe) dripping from the hull

This might be helpful, but just saw a cirrus yesterday that had oil all over the bottom of the rudder. Or not helpful.

    Attitude Indicator Overhaul

Helpful if you give more information. KI-256 are junk from the get go, and very few shops know how to overhaul/repair them.

I was under the impression spinners couldn’t or shouldn’t be welded? Or maybe that was the spinner bulkhead?

Passenger jet lost parts landing at KDEN?

I am wondering if it is the oil system pouring out and burning? Only thing that would still provide fuel, assuming the shut offs worked on fuel/hydraulics.

    Raptor Aircraft

Even when the company is found not liable how many millions did they have to spend to defend themselves? The legal system in this country is run by lawyers who just want the money.
