Alec Baldwin shoots and kills cinematographer.

I am on the defense side. I rarely have a plaintiff's case, and rarer still do I have a plaintiff's personal injury claim. I agree that justice is not always served. People file lawsuits because it works. At the end of the day, the system rewards filing lawsuits. There is plenty of blame to...

What can I say? We're self sufficient go-getters.

Alec Baldwin shoots and kills cinematographer.

I don't know. They used a real horse's head for the film producer scene. What's the difference?

Alec Baldwin shoots and kills cinematographer.

I think I saw something indicating Alec had settled with the decedent's estate and made her widower a producer on the resumed production.

How to do a Lien Release?

Thanks. I found that one, but the lien holder was Indianapolis Morris Plan. There are a few different Morris Plan entities that were merged/acquired with different entities. I'm not sure that that is the correct entity. I need to research that.

How to do a Lien Release?

Thanks, I have an old Indianapolis Morris Plan lien that I am trying to track down the successor to the original lien holder. This isn't my area of expertise. I can't find it on the FDIC web site.

    LAX area shut down, again.

Pretty sure it's a reference to Bill and Ted's Big Adventure, which predated Artaris' song by about a decade.

If the hot sauce is as bad as Carolina barbeque sauce is, then I would say he has a strong case.

    EPA targets lead in avgas

I'm sure there is no way a government official would try to ban a technology in support of some other new technology replacement before the replacement is commercially available in sufficient quantities to replace the old. I mean, just look at electric vehicles. Oh, wait. Never mind.

    Labor shortages are annoying.

As far as I know, no repairs need to be done. But, they haven't completed the inspection, so we really don't know. Did I remove any of the inspection plates? No. I flew it over and handed them the keys. Six weeks ago. I called them today. They haven't even started.

Yes, you can do your own oil changes with just a private pilot's certificate, but you can't sign off on the required annual inspection.

    Labor shortages are annoying.

I dropped the plane off for its annual August 27 for its August 29 appointment for its annual. Usually, we get the plane back in two weeks. But this time, they are still not finished due to lack of mechanics. Ugh. We were told last week they hoped to have it finished this week. Fall break...

    Straight in

I'm not opposed to that, except I try to not use the word "final" in my radio call that far out, but instead merely indicate my intention to do so. (I fly a 177B.) I don't want anyone to think I have claimed the right of way that far out given that my plane isn't the fastest one out there. As...
