    When dreams come true... (long)

Haven't been following the thread but for the last few pages. So there's no issue instructing and getting paid to fly airlines?

    Tv Show 'The BULL'

Yeah, this episode he doesn't seem as denozo-ish. I'm still going to wait to see what I honestly think of this show. I do agree it is similar to lie to me, but it is different too.

    Tv Show 'The BULL'

The new show 'BULL' is on its second episode tonight. The show follows a guy who does trial/jury science to figure out to help his clients win. His client tonight is a pilot who lost control of a commercial airline in windshear killing all but herself. It's slightly interesting so far.

    FAA updated AC and Handbooks

Glad I didn't purchase the hard copies of these books! (Yes, I know you can download them for free off the web, but somethings I just can't do on tablets.)

Looking at a Partnership Offer. What should I look for?

Find out where the funds for the WAAS upgrade and future ADSB are coming from (I'm assuming it will all happen at the same time.) And their ideal time frame of getting it done. I'd hate for you to buy in and then have to foot a hefty avionics bill you weren't expecting.

Looking at a Partnership Offer. What should I look for?

7 shares seems like a lot for one aircraft, but given the right group of guys it could work. Ask what they do when there are scheduling conflicts. The posters above me also made some good points. I talked to the A&P and asked if there was anything he SUGGESTED the group should do/fix at annual...

ForeFlight version 8 has been released.

Does foreflight allow you to adjust what zoom level/ size things on the vector maps show up at?

What do you think about the DA62?

I wonder how hard it would be to add pressurization to the airframe? Maybe a future model? And in regards to the TBO, isn't there the chance the TBO number will increase as more engines are put into service?

Need some advice - planning my longest trip to date

Yeah I think ours is a little chubby to begin with (although it has the factory A/c so I'm sure that's part of it). It's like 17xx empty, with a 2650 max load weight. So it's like a 900+ useful load. Minus 300 for full fuel. Maybe they pulled EVERYTHING put of the cabin except for a metal seat...

Thanks for the cash advice! I usually don't have much more than $30 or 40 on me, which wouldn't get me very far!

Need some advice - planning my longest trip to date

Absolutely, I always do w&b before any flight with more than the usual 2 people (including myself). And to repeat what I said a few times in this thread already, this trip isn't happening until the begging of next week probably, which gives me plenty of time to do all sorts of planning and...

Need some advice - planning my longest trip to date

Thanks for the well wishes. Trip won't be happening for at least a week, so I have plenty of time to plan a SAFE flight. Going down I wouldn't want to pull the throttle back too much, but coming back I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Need some advice - planning my longest trip to date

That's what I like about my options. If I look at the "expected route" function on skyvector it takes me on the east side, but I think I'd rather take off and go straight over the mountains to fly on the west side. I feel like winds are usually out of the west too so being on the west side of...

Need some advice - planning my longest trip to date

Thanks for the heads up. They haven't even started to tear the truck apart yet. So it won't be at least till Monday or so that it'll be done. I'm trying to do as much research as far as fuel/routing goes as I can so my biggest concern can be the weather once I get the word that they'll have it...

Yeah it is a pretty big day. I'd like to leave here earlier like you suggested to help limit the number of thunderstorms on the way down. Hopefully could take my time getting back then if there's any interesting stops on the way home. Not sure if there'll be 3 of us or 4 in the plane going...
