Garmin GTX 327 with tray and harness

This transponder was removed from the aircraft for an ADSB upgrade. It was working perfectly when removed. $360 Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Mystery cylinder problem: Cylinder dies in flight, then comes back online.

How lean did you have the mixture when this occurred? I had an intake leak for a while and when I pulled the power back toward idle the cylinder with the leak would go lean and quit. Soon as I brought the power up, it would come back to life. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    SPT vs. Nulite panel lighting

The fiber light setup is outstanding! I had it in my Mooney and loved it. It's going to be going in my new airplane here shortly. Install is very easy and will take about 2 to 3 hours to do 6 instruments. The first time you fly at night, you'll think it's the best two to three hours you've...

    New 2020 Phrasing

This^^^. ATC couldn't care less about your electronic toy. I hear guys say that in the airlines all the time too. All it does is clutter the frequency. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    CHT vs OAT

If number three is your warm cylinder, try putting a small baffle in front of number one. That will cool down your number three. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Most reliable vehicle you've owned vs least reliable

I'll second the Mercedes on this one.we had a 2009 ML350 that was the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned and will never buy another Mercedes again. Most reliable so far, was my 2006 Duramax Silverado, and my 2015 Duramax Sierra. Hands down, reliability winners! My Hyundai sonata comes in...

Small stick-on light for illuminating gauges at night?

I have a 1956 310 that the dome light and accompanying instrument flood light is inoperative. It does have a strip of LEDs under the dash that do an okay job. I am planning on updating the lighting shortly. In response to your question, I picked up a $3 LED light that sticks to the ceiling and...

    150 knots for $50k

You do have to be a little picky looking at twins, but I did find one that I bought for 55k. Mid-time engines, round dials with a 430 w and s-tech 30, gpss, alt hold autopilot. Admittedly, it was like catching lightning in a bottle, but if you can get them insured, twins are an excellent value...

    150 knots for $50k

"E" model Mooney. An "F" is within a couple knots if you want more room. A Cessna 310 will get 180kt for around 45k. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
