The guy is smart and successful without a doubt, has done some really impressive stuff. I still have trouble getting past the decision he made that totaled his last plane with his wife and best friend inside.

Found this today, thought it was really interesting. It's one thing to know how carburetors work, it's another thing entirely to see one work and watch the interaction of fuel and air.

That's the only way my o-300 will start. First flight of the day, pull primer out, start turning motor over as you're pushing the primer in. If you do it that way, it starts quicker than my fuel injected pickup does.

So I got the ASA in and have made a few parts with it. It seems a little denser and harder than PETG. Parts seem quite a bit stronger too. It certainly has a bit more smell to it than PETG, but it's not horrible. You can print it in smaller layers and it gives a nice finish. I was wrong...

Here's the PTT switch brackets I designed and printed to get away from the switches held on with velcro. Also the N number plaque on the dash was printed as well.

It really works well, there isn't much weight to that head so it hanging out in the breeze like that isn't a problem. It's been trouble free for me so far. Knock wood. I thought about buying the bigger one as well, but 7x7x7 has been big enough to do all the parts I've needed.

The Prusa mini runs about 400, has a 7x7x7 inch printing envelope. It's stupid easy for a beginner, because I was one when i bought it.
