    Sectionals needed for Ontario Canada?

You can get Canadian online sectionals at fltplan.com just pop in a flight plan and select Sectionals-Canada. Note its also available on their EFB fltpango (Free). I used it when I go up to Canada so I don't have to pay for the additional chart subscription.

Quality of Pilot training in Philippines?

I lived in the Philippines for 7 years between 2012 and 2018, and I can say the quality of instruction and maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. There was not a school I went to where I felt completely 100% with the quality of the planes. Also the process to obtain a Philippine license is...

[NA] Help me plan a European Christmas vacation

    American AA-1B TR-2?

@David Baker Lol it sounds like you have my planes twin. I have 1973 TR2 and it eats landing lights like candy (I just converted to LED cause I got tired of replacing them.) and my alternator keeps popping the breaker and my A&P is talking about replacing it this annual. At least it sounds like...

    American AA-1B TR-2?

I just bought a 1973 TR-2 (N6516L) last Saturday and flew it from Kansas to Wisconsin. My version has the 115HP engine STC and standard 22 gallon tanks with the climb prop. On the way home at 2500 Rpm was getting about 112 to 115 Mph at 9500 @ 6.2 Gph. Was climbing at 600 to 700 fpm down low...

    Ghosting/cloning a PC hard drive

Plus 1 for Marcium, I own a small IT MSP/Consultancy and we use it quite regularly for cloning, it just works. If it's a critical piece of infra and you want a set and forget backup then I would look at something like https://www.datto.com/products/alto/?ref=homepage. But basically a full...

    Bugs and Tie Downs

Yeah asked the airport manager to cut the grass a bit, said he would today, and I'm borrowing a weed wacker to flatten it as much as possible. Good point about raking it up.

    Bugs and Tie Downs

Thanks @flyingron yeah don't want to kill the pollinators, and I do have everything as covered up as I can, so they do not seem to be getting inside the cabin. They were mostly in and around the engine compartment, but the plane cleaner and 2 hours of engine running seems to have removed that...
