I agree with Jay, I was listening to it live from my living in Oklahoma and was wondering why they keep turning back the whole group. At about 6:30pm they started taking 1 or 2 from the bunch and turning the rest back. At least some were getting in then.

My 7.1.1 didn't work but old phone with 5.1.1 did. Both Samsung Active. S7 and S5.

Might be a Android update issues, because Garmin email me yesterday and said they are testing a fix pilot. My Pilot on a Samsung Active S7 stopped transferring database files to the GTN650. I downloaded pilot onto an older phone running an older version of android and it worked.

Part of the complaint my avionic guy had was poor quality of wire the previous installer used.

Mine did that for years with the old com/nav radios. During the avionic upgrade the shop called and said he wanted to replace the harness because it was wired wrong. After upgrade, no issues. I thought is was bleeding over from the RF cables but it clear now that it was the harness.

In my setup, GTN650 w/ 345 w/ 510, the Connext (Bluetooth) is active and available to pair devices on both the FS510 and GTX 345. Both of the Connext (FS510 and GTX345) are configured by way of the GTN650 Connext page.

Mostly use the Aero and Low IFR charts even when fly VFR. I agree with the comments above, that Aero charts are the foundation of future. My guess we are only a few years away from Sectional not being available.

My Comanche POH says the glide ratio goes from 10:1 to 13:1. Pretty significant.
