I loved that airplane back when they first demoed it. The kit was very well done with numbered parts and detailed build instructions. As someone mentioned above, bad company decisions and a little bit of bad luck did them in. I think it's a beautiful airplane.

The instructor looks completely disoriented. I don't think he knew he was so far to the left of the runway which is why he retarded the throttle to settle back down. Once he noticed the position, he went full throttle again but did not take control of the stick. Scary stuff. RIP

Maybe he cirrus was too low. Altimeter setting wrong, etc.... We will have to wait and see.

The audio had the cirrus maintaining 1000 or above until turning base to remain clear of helicopters below. Either he went to low or the helicopter was too high. This is just so sad. I was going flying tomorrow but I'm not sure now since this one shook me up.

Don't listen to the audio, it will just make you sick.
