    Cessna 150M FOR SALE

    1. You have my cell phone number and email address, silly. 2. The funny thing is - I already met the guy a few weeks ago in Petaluma and saw him washing the 150. I walked up to him and said "nice plane" and he told me it was for sale. Not a lot gets past me at my home airport, I'm there all...

    SFO alternatives??

Kimberly does not have enough money or guts to even have landed at any SFO alternatives such as Palo Alto, San Carlos, Concord, Livermore, etc. Therefore Kimberly should probably not comment. I have landed at Oakland, but only in my primary training. Palo Alto, but only as a backseat...

    I Need Your Help

Nothing yet. Thanks to everyone for all the replies. I am working on my resume and will email to those who privately or publicly asked for a copy. To save money I haven't even been to the airport in a long time . . . saving up for the Reno Air Races (PRS is in June for all the rookies)...

    I Need Your Help

Unfortunately, this weekend, I have already signed up as a volunteer for another aviation event on Saturday (actually, I have three aviation things to do on Saturday). Sunday is Easter and Sat night / Sunday I will be with family. What event are you talking about / can you send me more info?

    I Need Your Help

I'm sorry that work and life have gotten in the way and I haven't posted here in a LONG time. I continue to grow my aviation connections on POA, Facebook, and even real life (at the airport). I have been happy to host many of you into my wonderful town and planes and take you up on flights...

    A New GA Activity

I never got to fly the coast in my training! Lucky you! Shelter Cove was a little gem that I got to see only after my checkride! My training was somewhat boring and made the "after the checkride" stuff that much better!

Why is the WingX web site so horrible?

It sounds like my ipad is too old. I'll have to look into that.

Why is the WingX web site so horrible?

Thank you for this thread. My foreflight expires in a week and though wing x costs more, a pilot I fly with a lot just loves it and wants me to switch. The extended runway headings alone are enough to tempt me, plus foreflight brought up a taxiway diagram (blocking the map) automatically last...

    Airport Politics

I have been elected to the Board Of Directors of a small, non profit, airport-based, membership fee only, club. Basically, we have meetings, eat food, attend fly-outs, and raise money for student pilots. We are a not for profit group. I did hear some say that, for the most part, we welcome...

typical time frame to get a PPL?

I did only the minimum solo. To save money. So I was quite excited when I got my certificate because I still had so much to learn. Lucky for me, more than half of all my passengers (I rarely fly alone) have been pilots - and very experienced pilots at that. Some with thousands of hours. I...

typical time frame to get a PPL?

I ask this question a lot. My current flight school usually takes 55-80 hours. I know that is a wide range but at least you can crunch some numbers. I was thrown off guard by the FAA's "40 hours" and had to borrow money because it took me twice that.
