The eagle is pretty loud in the cockpit. I suppose the halos have sufficient notice dampening or you wouldn't like them. Do you wear a helmet over them?

I'll consider the in the ear sets but I don't like poking plugs into my earS, I have small ears... Maybe I can get some earmolds made that fit. My early career was an audiologist for an ENT/head and neck surgeon so I certainly understand custom molds and their affect on frequencies transmitted...

Is there such a thing? The only ones I ever see are with old David Clark headsets .... I can just use a ribbon under my chin but even though that may be quite "stylish" :D I'd rather just have a helmet.

I try to schedule my students trip to midland to coincide with a tour. That way when they are solo they aren't as afraid to talk to the folks because they have met them and know they are just people in jeans doing their job.

Well, I certainly lagged behind the needed inputs on the eagle and I think I still do somewhat but I know now how it does and can anticipate it more. Also, it was easier when the CFI got out.... I have heard that an eagle is easier than a Pitts... From what my initial roll outs were like in...
