    I'm a Lear Jet Captain!!

The King Air responded "honey, we're doing business here, not practicing." Oh my. It's a good thing I wasn't there... And no one has said anything like that to me. Ooo, I'd have chewed him ... He wouldn't be too big for his britches anymore as he'd be missing some *$$. Grrrrr

Student Airmen--It Might Actually be YOU, and not Your CFI

And there is much more to becoming a pilot than just manipulating the controls of an aircraft.

Student Airmen--It Might Actually be YOU, and not Your CFI

Bucket of prop wash, If your CFI yells and is rude find another one. Simple as that. There is no reason you should pay someone as an instructor and be treated in that way. Is he an old ex military guy? There are other CFIs in your area. If you post where you live I imagine someone here...

    What would you do/say

He sounds like a good candidate for FAA safety rep... Maybe he is one? Anyway, I don't think it's unreasonable for anyone with an understanding of aviation to politely ask a pilot about these things. As he is the line guy he was possibly simply making sure the PIC really wanted full fuel...

    I get to fly a ...

Well, we flew the aircraft today. Sweet plane. If I had a LOT more money I believe I'd get one for fun for about a year.... Sucks fuel like a big dog though, wouldn't really want to feed it but hey, it was fun. I was surprised at how quiet it was. And how really I couldn't tell how fast we...

    I get to fly a ...

Nah, I really haven't even been able to fly it but 2 hrs since I got her home.... Its just that the guy in the jet agreed to take me up for a hop. My husband, Kevin, went over and asked him while I was up in the 152 with a student and told me when I got back. Prolly only 20 mins since I'm...
