I don't know if you are into long hikes. Payne's Prairie State Park has a 1.5 mile each way trail at the north end of the park where you can walk and get really close to the alligators. If you flew to KGNV Gainesville, FL you would need to get a car to get to the La Chua Trail...

Interesting on the "crazy" fees at Vandenburg. I haven't been there for a few years. They used to be quite reasonable on the fees.

If you are going to Key West you should call up the Naval Air Station for clearance to fly through that airspace.

i recommend Key West. I enjoy Duval Street and the many things to see in Key West. The flight is beautiful. I have also done a number of flights to Tampa Executive, I enjoy that flight also. There are a number of things to do in Tampa.
