    Makes a lot of sense. My wife will never get on a small plane, so it’s pretty much for me to go short distances - 100-200 miles.

    Thanks - you are right about equidistant. Deer Valley, Mesa, Glendale all about 22 mi so Glendale (just north of the LA-Phx vector) might be good as well as Deer Valley.     Re heart surgery, sorry to hear, but hang in there cause that’s plumbing and fixable. Sometimes dementia is temporary from surgery trauma.
