    How did you decide how much plane to afford?

    Makes a lot of sense. My wife will never get on a small plane, so it’s pretty much for me to go short distances - 100-200 miles.

    Thanks - you are right about equidistant. Deer Valley, Mesa, Glendale all about 22 mi so Glendale (just north of the LA-Phx vector) might be good as well as Deer Valley. A friend of mine has his airplanes up there. Flagstaff airport FBO says no training pilots allowed up there when I called You...

    Re heart surgery, sorry to hear, but hang in there cause that’s plumbing and fixable. Sometimes dementia is temporary from surgery trauma.
