ForeFlight version 8 has been released.

Correcto mundo my good man. You need to get the Pro Plus subscription to keep your current features and get the new one.....plus some you might not even care about.

ForeFlight version 8 has been released.

I missed it on their website. I just watched their videos about the upcoming upgrade and I don't remember it being mentioned in them. Does not really matter, by subscription is up in December and will relook at all this then.

ForeFlight version 8 has been released.

Hi Deverpilot, My renewal subscription on Dec15 was $174.99 for the year with SV. I wanted SV and it was available as an add-on, an add-on that I wanted so I was willing to pay for it. Flav

ForeFlight version 8 has been released.

I agree, it is not free to do these upgrades. And if they came and said that, at renewal, your Pro subscription is going up $10 a year or whatever to get the new Maps feature, I would be fine with that. What I do not like it that I am forced to Pay for LogBook when I do not want it, do not...

ForeFlight version 8 has been released.

That was my thought as well. Someone that pays $99/yr gets it, but me at $174/yr does not. I am looking at the Garmin Pilot App as I type this and considering switching. I have the GTN650 with the Flightstream 210, so my Stratus 2 is not worth anything to me anymore anyway.

I am just a tad ****ed at Foreflight. I did not see where they said that you have to be a Basic or ProPlus subscriber to get the new maps....I was really looking forward to seeing what they had been working on, since I watched the videos the release at Oshkosh. I download the update and find...

Evening Everyone, The Comanche Flyer Foundation has scheduled a training seminar in Rockford, IL the weekend of June 4th, 2016. The last one they did down in Tampa sold out with 20 participants. Cliff W. Of Heritage Aero is hosting it in his shop so there will probably be some neat 1950's...

    Book speeds

I am 5kts slower then book down low (3-5k). I think part of it is attributable to having a 3 blade Prop and Tip-Tanks. No other mods. I am going to start doing a few things to try and get a few of those knots back. Fuel burn is inline with book. Flav

    Best affordable plane for IFR?

Piper Comanche 250, a solid 140kts TAS at 12.5 gal hr, and can push 150 kts burning 14 gal. More room then a Mooney, with Tip Tanks you got 1,200 lbs of useful load. With a budget of 100k you can find a real nice one. Flav

    Autism and Employment

As others have said, I think it depends on the individual. My oldest was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at age 5, we are lucky he is very high functioning. He carries A's and B's in High School. His problems are in the social skills area, he has a hard time with social situations. He cannot handle...
