So if I use an external GPS with the Stratux, the altitude displayed by Foreflight will be from the stratux External GPS rather than the iPad internal GPS? I know I can tell stratux to use the external GPS on the web page at 192.168.10.1, but do I need to tell Foreflight or the iPad itself...

Foreflight time is very generous, even if you MANUALLY start and stop the recording.

Same observations this morning after checking batteries out carefully. They look OK and have 2026 date on them, and I even "erased" the ends with a pencil eraser as suggested. The unit will variably power up, but if it does, the slightest pressure or tapping on the inferior end of the battery...

Thanks - I'll update results tomorrow. Batteries came with headset and were sealed as new in plastic. Maybe old. I hope it's something simple!
