    New iPad Pro

WIFI issues on a new IPAD can usually be fixed by going to settings - general - (all the way to the bottom) reset - Reset Network Settings. This will cause it to lose the WIFI networks you have programmed, but should fix WIFI issues.

2 driving vacation options = need ideas

Here is an option if you want to hike. Might even find a jeep rental for some off road fun as well if you enjoy that (just take a GPS and at least 2 vehicles and a tow strap) http://www.redrivergorge.com/

    Clarity Aloft

I am a student pilot and love my CA's. I tried the Lightspeed Zulu2's first and liked them, but I wear ear plugs when driving my Cobra, so the CA's just seems like a perfect fit. Sound quality is very good, mic seems to work well. Comfort is spot on, almost no weight and I can spin my head...

Things I've learned from Youtube about Engine Outs

Its a Cobra Replica West Coast Cobra 1994 originally designed by Jim Kellison as the Kellison Stallion in the 70's. Slightly longer and wider than a Cobra made for as much comfort as it is speed. SVO 460 with a Richmond 4+1 Transmission. And to stay on topic. I love driving it to the...

Things I've learned from Youtube about Engine Outs

As a new student less than 7 hours of flight time between a Cessna 162 and a 172. I can say I hope that I do not have to ever deal with a true engine out, but I did have some fun last week. My CFI and I were flying, practicing stalls (power on and off). Then I noticed the engine running a wee...

    Current desktop flight sim recommendations

I have X-plane 10/11 beta as well as Microsoft flight sim X on steam (steam allows it to run on modern PC's). As far as yoke/rudder/controls I have Saitek Cessna edition, bought on craigslist for $300 for rudder, Yoke, throttle quadrant, trim wheel and radio panel.

    Choosing a hangar

Cost, Convenience, Safety. I would go by the close runway during times you would normally fly and see how busy it is, see if you like the people. Saving that much time to fly and or return home would be very nice.

Any advice for a pilot who wants to kick the cigs?

My bother is 52 and has been smoking since he was 14, he keeps saying he plans to quit and slows down but doesn't quit. He has tried vaping, I told him the other day you have to want to quit, it is just like wanting to fly. You don't just half way want to fly and half way read the books and...

    iphone calendar infested

From what I read, if you log into icloud online and create a new category for calendar items and add the spam to that you should be able to delete the category and it should delete all the items in it. None of the following is mine it has been pulled from a couple websites, but good info, I...

    Introduction?

I can say this my CFI is very good in that he does a preflight, when do all the checks, we go out and he tells me what to do as we are flying around. Of course he told me I landed the plane on my first attempt (we all know that probably didn't happen). Then during my Post Flight he explains...

I was at Oceana as well VA-65, VF-43, AIMD then went to Little Creek for 4 years of fun at FIWC. I usually fly on Saturday mornings as that is my best available schedule, if I see a bright orange 172 I will make a point of an intro. Thanks for all the welcomes to the forum.

    Introduction?

Not sure where I am supposed to put my introduction post, so I figured in the Pilot Training section since I am a student pilot. If I am wrong please move the post and let me know. New to the forum, and new to flying, just had my second official flight this past Saturday the 26th of November...
