Find you phone function only works well if it can triangulate with more than one cell tower. If it was inside a store I don't think it will get more than one tower.

Aviation, sex, and a really good joke

I had no intentions of trying to name anyone... well other than Sanusi (whom ever that might be).

Aviation, sex, and a really good joke

A husband and wife were having dinner at an expensive restaurant, when a stunning young woman comes over to their table. Without blinking an eye, the woman gives the husband a kiss on the lips and says, “See you later.” The wife stares at her blushing husband and at the woman walking away. Then...

    Oil Analysis Question

I know when I was in the Navy many years ago, we did oil analysis to track aircraft engine trends and to know how the engine was doing between rebuilds. We changed a few jet engines early due to how the trends were going. Like MFE stated it is that or deal with an engine out, and in the Navy...

Which ipad has the best GPS receiver?

I read here https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-add-more-storage-to-an-ios-device/ about how to add storage, but I am not sure about a microSD. As far as best GPS receiver add and external GPS for best results.

    Cleaning iphone receptacle

You may also want to try a different charging cable as they sadly do go bad, even if they look good. And yes power it off and use contact cleaner that is what it is made for.

    FAA and airline seat size/pitch

Not a very good test, since I didn't see one person with a book, laptop, purse, handbag, knitting stuff, iPad, Phone, drink, lunch... really try it with real world crap and see how long that takes and how many people would get hurt.

Kind of the same boat, just purchased a Ercoupe and within the Class Bravo veil, per my A&P IA, he recommended waiting. Prices are coming down, more options coming to the market.

Wifi does not work - Windows 10 Desktop

As long as you are sure your network is working correctly (i.e. you have another computer connecting to your router and it can get to the internet) then in the search bar type "network reset" without quotes. Then press reset now. This will reset to factory settings and you may need to reload...

Pilot / Copilot Intercom Inop on hot days.

Wouldn't a can of air (air Duster) work as well? Sprayed at an angle it freezes, probably cheaper than wart spray and less corrosive.

    Ercoupe as first airplane?

As a sport pilot, I just purchased an Ercoupe. I love the look of them, cost isn't bad to purchase, the only real issues that I have read is corrosion. And as a 35 hour sport pilot insurance is only $780 a year. I looked at Experimentals and equal insurance would run me $3000 a year. The...

Plane shopping; Q list for seller

Any known quirks with how it fly's? (obviously you will find out when you fly it, but knowing it always needs rudder trim or wish it had some aileron trim would be nice) How much oil does the engine use per flight hour? Why are you selling? Anything you would change if you were keeping it?
