Last sheepskin seat covers I ordered I ordered from https://www.kiwisheepskins.com/sheepskin-car-seat-covers-cat9 I had them in my Mini Cooper for the longest time, when I sold it I moved them to my work van. I do get odd looks for that, but they are very comfortable.

    Home and Auto Insurance

Thought I would throw in my thoughts. Have you considered insuring the 17 year old subaru with someone like Hagerty? With an agreed coverage plan? Or will that cause issues with the Umbrella? I have 2 vehicles with Hagerty one of which has an agreed value of $40k and my insurance is only...

new student pilot with some questions

Chair flying X4 or 5... I only flew once a week on Saturdays at Sportys, so I did have the advantage of trying on different headsets. I hated the added weight and I seemed to always bump them so bought a Clarity Aloft headset and I will not look back. After buying my own plane I got 4...

The Topless Thread (hope I don't get banned again)

I will never knock building one, but for the price; just like with an Experimental aircraft you can get a better deal after someone else has built it. I paid less for my West Coast Cobra already built with a SVO 460 under the hood than I could buy just the rolling chassis from the manufacture...

Alternative EFBs: FlyQ vs WingX vs FltPlanGo

I use FlyQ EFB and love it. I do only fly VFR, but I will say this, it has the option to file VFR, IFR and DVFR. You can also set flight plan routing for None, Wind/Fuel only, Victor Airways, Jet Airways, Terrain Avoidance, search and Rescue. It will provide you with a legal brief and gets...

Bluetooth Headsets, what are they good for??

I purchased the Bluetooth option for my Clarity Aloft and tried using it one time on a shorter flight and like you said, listening to music with radio calls are not easy. But If I am on a longer cross country I do enjoy listening to music if alone. I have not used flight following as of yet.

    My first Non-Gastons POA Fly-in

I thought the best part was the high speed flyby of the helicopter.... you could almost see it. Or maybe I had to much to drink for breakfast.

    When you sell a plane.

When I bought mine it had about 9 gallons of fuel... I had to buy a full bag to leave the airport.

Paper sectional charts- are we still using them?

Just your basic VFR sport pilot, I use my iPad or iPhone for all my charts. I have an Xnaut iPad cooler in my plane so the iPad never even thinks of getting hot. I do carry the one Ohio Chart with me as it is the only one I have purchased.

    Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

Couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things. During a check-up, the doctor tells them that they're physically okay, but they might want to start writing things down to help them remember. Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair 'Want...

    Look what I found

You should donate them to a local or otherwise museum if you want them preserved. Having the tag and basically original dust might make it worthy of something like that.
