How do I turn off Gyros to isolate noise on Nav?

How do I turn off the gyros when I turn on the master? I'm trying to isolate some noise on my nav radios. I have the button type breakers, but I cannot simply pull them out. I tried to grab one, which is difficult, and pull it out, but unable to. Also, which breaker is the gyro on in a PA28-181?

    Advice on Studying for PPL

I can't get through the Sportys videos. Too dry for me. I always fall asleep when they talk weather. Books put me to sleep too. What I found worked for me is the Private Pilot course from Jason Schappert. You may have heard of him, MZeroA.com is the website. They have an online ground school...

Replacing nose wheel inner tube. How do I balance?

For the amount of times I'll be doing this, I don't think it pays for me to buy a balancer. I'll just bring it to a motorcycle shop and have it done for me. Thanks!

Replacing nose wheel inner tube. How do I balance?

I have to replace the nose wheel inner tube. Once done, how do I check the balance on the tire? I want to be sure it's balanced, so upon takeoff or landing, it's not shimmying all over the place do to out-of-balance.

    Touch-Up Paint

Simply amazing. The op is just trying to get a simple answer to a question regarding paint, and the thread is taken over with 4 pages of people arguing. Everyone has an opinion, whether right or wrong, it is not detrimental to the original question the op is seeking an answer to. Why can't...

    Where to get alternator rebuilt?

My Mech would do it. Again, cheaper to buy a rebuilt (thanks to GLMS_NC for the link!) than to have him get the kit, rebuild it and install it. Plus, the new one is all shiny. Ooooooo! :D

    Where to get alternator rebuilt?

By the time I buy the kit and do it, it isn't that much cheaper. This way, I also get a shiny new looking alternator, also. :wink2:

    Where to get alternator rebuilt?

Just took a look at their pricing. $195 for a rebuilt with the return of a core is not bad at all! Thanks!

    Where to get alternator rebuilt?

I live north of Tampa, FL. Does anyone know where I can get my alternator rebuilt? The local electric shops wont touch it because its an airplane alternator. Even though it's a Chrysler alternator, it makes no differnce.

Where can I find sponge door seal that compresses easily?

Nothing wrong with the airframe. The door is a close fit without any seals. Lines up perfectly. No twisting anywhere and not off anywhere.

Where can I find sponge door seal that compresses easily?

Spoke to Browns Aircraft and told them the issues with the seal I bought from them, being unable to close the door. They are sending me a different seal, a hollow 1/4 round, at no cost. Even shipping it overnight!!! Talk about great customer service!

Where can I find sponge door seal that compresses easily?

I had their seal on and it was way too tight, even after adjusting the door. I had it on for a full year. It caused other problems and that's why I removed it and am looking to replace the seal now.

Thanks, but don't want inflatable seals. I want a simple soft sponge seal.

Where can I find sponge door seal that compresses easily?

I may just get my A&P to get it and install. This will be my 3rd set and attempt. Getting expensive.
