    I would guess I would be early out of STL & FLA.. Defiantely would stay out of the afternoon when those rain clouds like to pop up...

    Thinking of trying a vacation trip FLA from STL.. 600 to 700 miles.. Stop twice probaly to let the kids pee... :yesnod: But all I have is XM weather.... everyone says that I really should have radar for flying into FLA? :dunno: Discussion plz.. :idea:

    Commercial written test prep / clinic recomendation

    I am horrible at taking test.. Test anxiety SUX :mad2: Just trying something to take the edge off.. My cfi says Im completely opposite of most of the students he has... they hate the flying portion and don't mind the written... I guess Im just :loco:

    Garmin 496 / Approach plates..

    Does anyone besides aviationsafety.com make approach plates for the 496? Does anyone have any experience with any approach loading software on the 496? I use my 496 in the car, boat & plane; hate to get rid of it; but would love plates on my back up GPS. Thx:idea:

    Wanted - 2008 OskKosh NOTAM Booklet...

    I saw the pdf version... but the book was the perfect size for a page mark in my log book. I thought I would call EAA after the chaos of Airventure is over.. I will defiantley pay for it,, if you have one..

    Long story short.. I flew to Airventure in 2008 and kept the NOTAM publication as a souvenir. It has disappeared.. Was wondering if anyone has one they would like to sell?
