I agree. I was in touch with someone selling an Archer and when I ran all the options and avionics through the appraisal tool, it was $10k less than they were asking. They refused to budge because they spent a ton installing all this stuff nearly 8 years ago. Amazing how people think they can...

Yes, it's very important they are flown. But, a high time airframe is a tired plane. Most of the time, unless it's been owned by an A&P, you will wind up having to replace things constantly that are worn. Harder to justify value and more difficult to sell. You may never have problems, but it's...
