Wanted: Aircraft Piper Archer II or III

I got divorced and had to sell everything to buy her out. That included the airplane. Compared to the garbage on the market now, I got way too little for it. Got $67k for it. If I found one like this today, with low hours like mine had, I'd jump on it for that price!

Help a fellow PoAer out in starting his new brokerage...

I agree. I was in touch with someone selling an Archer and when I ran all the options and avionics through the appraisal tool, it was $10k less than they were asking. They refused to budge because they spent a ton installing all this stuff nearly 8 years ago. Amazing how people think they can...

Yes, that's me. I reposted again, so it's not buried. A lot of crap out there with sellers thinking they have gold.

LOL. Yeah, there are a few of us on here looking for the same thing. In my case, an Archer II.

Wanted: Aircraft Piper Archer II or III

I'm looking to buy a 1977 or newer Piper Archer (II or III). I'd like a low TTAF. Engine time doesn't matter, and avionics doesn't matter, so long as price reflects accordingly. Obviously engine at TBO or original outdated avionics equals lower price, whereas very low engine time and/or updated...

I'm in the market right now for an Archer. If you come a cross a nice Piper Archer II (1977 or newer), that has low TTAF and low engine hours (or tbo engine for significantly less), I have cash in hand and looking to pull the trigger for the right plane. I'm picky though. I've looked at planes...

Decided to pass on the plane. Corrosion. No need for a pre-buy. Thanks!

Seeking recommendation for A&P for Pre-Buy in/around Chino, CA.

I'm flying out to look at an Archer this weekend. If all goes well, I'd like to get a pre-buy inspection done on Saturday (2/18). Can anyone recommend a really good mechanic for the pre-buy, in or around Chino, CA (KCNO)? I'd prefer to use someone that comes highly recommended, rather than pick...

I still have to do an engine a a year or two and I still don't have the avionics I want. Looking at GTN750 at the minimum.

Looking to buy Archer II with low time and updated avionics!

Yeah, I've been in touch with the owner. He won't budge on price. For all I want to do, I would need to get the plane for $15k in order to not go too far over what it would be worth after I was done.

Looking to buy Archer II with low time and updated avionics!

It depends on the total package. I have to see everything the plane has to offer. If the 430 is the worst of it, it's not a deal breaker. It all depends on the overall package and price. What do you have?

Looking to buy Archer II with low time and updated avionics!

Yes, it's very important they are flown. But, a high time airframe is a tired plane. Most of the time, unless it's been owned by an A&P, you will wind up having to replace things constantly that are worn. Harder to justify value and more difficult to sell. You may never have problems, but it's...
