Have to traffic pattern info from the sectional. What I want to be able to do is long press on an MOA, alert area, etc., and get specific info about when those areas are in use, what altitude, etc.

I highly recommend Rod Machado's Private Pilot Handbook. It'll teach you everything you need to know for your written exam. I read the whole book and got a 100 on my test. Good luck, have fun, and please, stay out of the trees.

I did touch and goes from the very beginning of my training. Can't imagine trying to learn to land without doing them.

I tried this after my flight this afternoon and couldn't find any record of my flight. Is this like cloudahoy? Just curious how you get this fight history info because I'm not seeing that on the active flight plan.

Yes, it was very easy. When I put the app on my Nexus 7 and logged in, I had a notice pop up asking which one I wanted to cancel, my iPad 2 or my Galaxy S3. Cancelled the iPad 2, and it fired right up on the Nexus. Went home and started the app on my iPad 2 and no worky. Sent from my Nexus 7...
