I played with that app a while ago. It might be useful if you had a Stratus, but didn't have Foreflight. I don't recall it having any additional information or control in it.

Now that I reread some of the earlier posts, there seems to be a trend with BoA.

Bank of America. It seems like it has steadily gotten worse in the last 4-5 months. I think we are on the 3rd or 4th replacement card this year, only once was for actual fraud on the account.

Mine isn't too bad - yet. It works ok unless I wiggle the cable even just a little bit, then the charging cuts in and out. Which means it is going to be an issue soon. They certainly should cover it under warranty, particularly since a big selling point of the new 2S is "...and a next...

Are you actually using this cable? I can see why it could be better. I am always hesitant about 3rd party cables.

I let mine update to 2.0. Am I the only one who has it? It sounds like everyone else is at 1.6.

FF synthetic vision with Stratus 2 landing in Vegas on AA. I loaded the route from flight aware right before we took off. I was surprised that we followed it completely.

Foreflight just gave me a notice that there is an updated firmware available for the Stratus. Has anyone updated their units yet? Any issues? Also I tried to find a listing of the changes, but wasn't able to. I thought I had seen a list in the past, but couldn't find one for this update...

+1 for Sonicwall. i have had excellent luck with them. They are kind of at the lower end of business class, but aren't that much more expensive than high end consumer, but seem much more stable. The down side is they can be a bit of a bear to program, if you need more than a default setup. I...

It definitely does that. I have used it a number of times in the seat pocket in airlines. It doesn't seem to care what orientation it starts in.

That is a great question. I am not sure what it initializes to. For the most part mine is always in the same spot in the plane, or very close. Yet I have to calibrate it every time I use it. There is a Calibrate button somewhere in the AHRS window, that allows you to calibrate it in flight...
