Another mini convert: I picked up a mini/retina/cell and added it to my Verizon plan this month. I have a few hours on it using a RAM yoke mount and I'm happy with it so far. It fit's better on the yoke and obscures less of the panel than the iPad2, which has been demoted to home use.

Track up on my Garmin Aera and GTN, but north up on ForeFlight, until I learn how to read the text on the sectionals upside down and sideways.

Saw it from slightly more that half to full this morning. I didn't know that there was an eclipse, so when I saw what looked at a casual glance to be a crescent moon this morning and remembered last night's full moon, I was puzzled. It took a while to figure it out. :redface:

No problems on the iPad2 so far, but the iPhone5 locks up occasionally where the touchscreen and home button don't respond. I can get out of it by pushing the sleep button, but it's very annoying. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I never did anything that flew, (other than balsa stick/rubber band) but I did a lot with static scale models. I pretty much stopped building them when I started flying

I've had a pair of the 13s's for about ten years. They are a really nice passive set. I got a Zulu about 6 years ago and use it for my primay pair, but I still have the DC's for passengers.

My last contract gig was remote. Most of the other project team members were in CA, TX, or overseas. My current perm job lets me wfh a few days a week. Comes in handy since I have a 1:45 hour commute each way. My fiancee will be staying on with her current employer (in AZ) after she moves up...

I've done it a couple of times and really enjoyed it. You do miss the bang, but you also miss the mosquitos, crowds, and parking hassles.
