    Flying the Hudson River Corridor

    Fire Depts w Helo Units

FDNY has no helicopters, they wish they did, but don’t. The NYPD Aviation Unit, on the other hand, has seven and is tasked with Air/Sea rescue and fire suppression with Bambi Bucket water drops when needed. NYPD AU pilots are all sworn police officers, no civilians, even the mechanics are LEO’s...

    Ford Maverick

Looks like it’s a spin-off of the new BRONCO. Interior looks the same, well a bit nicer IMO. Appears Ford and the others are looking to steel sales from Honda’s Ridgeline, which is due for a refresh, to make it look more truck like.

Finding Airports that sell 91 Octane Mogas?

I’m fortunate to have a Stewart Ice Cream Store, near my airport, that carry’s 91 octane non ethanol fuel, at decent prices. I only use 100LL on cross country’s and mix in some in the winter, as the 100LL shelf life is longer.

    Failure in flight rivew !

I see your point and I have no problem with that. See my post above. In my case, it was given as part of a nationwide AOPA program. MY CFI had no problem with it. He could have insisted and charged me for the hour and I would have been fine with it. But I see where you are coming from.
