I am looking for recommendations for an upholstery shop (for an airplane) in the Midwest (St. Louis based).

Planning to upgrade a few components in my stack. I currently now use my good ol’ Stratus 2 via FF and IPad. Curious how you are getting traffic and weather.

IFD440 - completely understand the differences... I just think both units are great pieces that can be used to complete or enhance a center stack. Can't wait for Airventure to be able to touch/play and discuss... o_O Would love to hear about in the field reports before that though.

I'm torn between going to Avidyne and the GNX 375.. Waiting to hear from someone who has flown the 375 or made the decision.. ;)

Just curious how you stow stuff in the nose compartment of your airplane? I only have 25lbs capacity but thought I would move items up there that aren’t needed in the passenger area. How do you secure stuff? Bungees, straps, container would love to hear.

Planning a cross country and this seems to be a cheap fuel stop. Just checking if someone knows the airport or if there is one close with nice facilities and cheap gas.

This one or that one... Do I upgrade my 430 to waas and add the other stuff or just buy the GNX 375 and remove the old 330? The GNX has wifi right? I am guessing $1000 to install the GNX 375? $2000?

I agree.. but don't think it will be within two years, there are way too many part 135 airplanes with GNS systems installed. June 1 2019 - is right before OSKKOSK announcements.... $4,000 -------------------- after OSKKOSH - $3,000 - thats my bet...

I am pretty sure I am going to purchase a GNX375 at OSHKOSH, but I have already seen prices of G430W drop $1,000 in the few days since the announcement. I figure the bottom will be around $3,000 when you figure what it takes to make a G430W equivalent to the GNX375. That’s if Garmin doesn’t...

Ah. Makes sense. I have a STEC50 and was thinking of upgrading to the 3100 if it was a complete or partial.

I have the opportunity to add a gmx200 when I upgrade for 2020, (yep haven't done it yet). My question is.. hooked to a G430W what will the gmx200 do or give me that I can not perform on an Ipad connected to my G430W via wifi? Thanks..
