    Subaru Engine

Why has it been sitting for 10 years? Doing a Google search for Subaru conversions for aircraft will get you some great reading. Lots of history, not all good.

    150 knots for $150k

Theoretically a later model non-RG Cessna 182 with a few knots2u mods would do over 150 knots. Cessna claims 145 knots for later model 182's and new knots2u wheel pants and flap gap seals should get you more than 5 knots. Certainly not as sexy as some of the other mentioned aircraft though.

Tips / Suggestions on Controlling the Weather

You know that HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is no longer a Government "Program", right? It now belongs to the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Just give them a call and tell them that you have a "science project" you'd like help with. Shouldn't be a problem as long as...

Stock Market thoughts (continued - no politics please!)

I like to buy low and sell high. If the stock market is at all time highs then yes I like to take profits or put in a stop to protect profits. The bond inversion and long Bull Market is history. Maybe things will be different this time but in my opinion they are things that are still worth...

Stock Market thoughts (continued - no politics please!)

I'm not sure who you were quoting when you said "we're past due" because I didn't say that. I'm not making any "recession claim" either. All I am saying is that historically, an inverted yield curve resulted in a recession roughly 1 year later.

Stock Market thoughts (continued - no politics please!)

We are currently in one of the longest Bull Markets in history. It will not go on forever. The 3-month/10-year bond yield curve was recently inverted. Historically this has preceded every recession since 1956. The S&P 500 is at or near it's all time high. Sounds like a good time to take profits.

    Wireless Light Switch?

Only 2 wires going to the switch. I have no idea which way they go only that it switches 6 fluorescent light fixtures. I like the relay idea. Would I need to add a box to put the relay into or would it fit next to a switch in the current box?

    Wireless Light Switch?

Do Z-Wave switches require a hub? I really don't want to buy a hub for one switch.

    Wireless Light Switch?

Well I guess the Caseta switches won't work after all. The circuit I wanted to switch is 648 watts and the PD-5WS-DV only handles 600 watts. Back to the drawing board.
