    Wait, what "PC" did you have in 1982? You must have been wealthy! My first PC was around 1989, 80386 @ 25Mhz (32bit), 1MB RAM and a 40MB hdd, a VGA monitor and a 24pin printer = $2500 I still remember the price because that was big bucks for a kid back then!
