Why? The high cost of flying..

lol I also just looked at the VisionJet finance page and it shows on a 1,960,000 plane with 20% down ($392,000) the Financed Amount: $1,568,000.00, Fixed Rate: 4.14 %, Term: 240 months, Monthly payment: $9617.84. Let me add this to the list of things I cannot afford.

Why? The high cost of flying..

As we were talking about making it affordable I used a 2 1/2% of $20,000 down vs the 20% equating to $150,000 down.

Why? The high cost of flying..

Assuming a 30 year, 3.8% interest rate and a $20,000 down payment on a $750,000 airplane loan the monthly payment would be $3,988.99 per month. You would end up paying $494,535.92 in interest. This is why we don't sell airplanes like cars, or houses. BTW a 50 year payment plan would be $3307.17...

    Epic 1000 is now Certified

Compared to the VisionJet and the Honda Jet the average speed (282) and climb rate (4000 ft per minute) seems a lot better as well. There is just no parachute or auto land.

    Epic 1000 is now Certified

Well you gonna ask at least once :p It does seem like a good competitor, in terms of performance, to the VisionJet and Honda Jet. Not a 1:1 comparison but enough to look at all three.

Plane skids on snow, stops using their wing.

Pretty sure I wasn't sounding like that (since I was the one actually typing my sentence) but if this is your day to start an issue, go on.

Plane skids on snow, stops using their wing.

Yes, and if you read it you will see that mine was posted first and that I included this link in the other post because it had more traction than this one. These things happen.

Power sliding a regional jet (O'Hare)

I'll post the explanation I read from the other article linked above: "I’m an airline pilot that flew out of Chicago during this storm. What happened here was you have a contaminated runway, snow and ice with braking action advisories in effect, plus a strong gusty crosswind. After touchdown...

Power sliding a regional jet (O'Hare)

I have to come up with better titles. I posted the same thing before yours under aviation mishaps. I'll work on my witty titles capability. Mine does have an explanation attached to it however :p https://www.pilotsofamerica.com/community/threads/plane-skids-on-snow-stops-using-their-wing.122561/

    Grill placement...

Based on what looks like a hood vent by the other window I am saying this is the dining room. So at least it's close to the kitchen.
