337's are 4-seaters at best if anyone wants to take a bag with them
they also have a lot of issues. Keep in mind that Ken is a zealot when it comes to singing their praises. Do your own homework. There are good reasons that they sell so cheap. Also he'll try to tell you that the critics have...
like he said, you either dislodges something from one of the plugs or re-positioned a shorted harness. if it's the harness it'll come back but you are on the right track. Run it awhile and see what happens. And remember to always check the cheap & easy things first. In this case, in order it's...
some airframes have cooling issues, on my brave the front cylinders ran hot. I added some little scoops to the baffling between the 2-3rd rows of cylinders to increase pressure at the front and that evened things out nicely.
you aren't close to doing anything with the mag. First you need to rule out a bad plug and then a bad harness. Step 1 is to take all 4 plugs currently on the other mag and move them to the "bad" mag. If no change then it's on to checking the harness.
I agree. I like the routine by the guy in the black twin beech. But all the little planes look the same to me. When that part of the oshkosh routine starts up, i find myself turning around and wandering around vintage & homebuilt camping checking out people's craftwork
I would say that it's just plain lack of interest. Much the same as the reason most of us don't do donuts in our car in our driveway. I have a car and a plane to get me from point A to point B. I have no interest in using either one of them for any other purpose.
they probably aren't. If they are off at a mid-rpm then they can't be accurate at redline. odds are someone has mis-set the prop gov redline per the inaccurate tach
It's a little hard to say he was definitely doing anything. There are some instrument approaches into the residential air parks around there that are not published, you would not know about them
or if you have access to a bigger hangar, read through this thread. But whatever you do, DO NOT take your family for a ride in a t-bone if you intend to eventually buy something smaller

actually it's just the opposite. The aztec and especially the 310 will nickel & dime you to death compared to the baron. There is a reason the B58 fetches such a higher purchase price than the others. You pay up front or you pay later. Either way you pay.
