My personal opinion: you are less likely to have a mishap with traffic if you are expected to be where you are. In other words, be predictable. Turning crosswind midfield is not the pinnacle of expected behavior.

Personally i would avoid metalized wings for this reason. I thought I remembered the 140A with factory metal wings has better useful load though. I do like them a lot. Ground handling is better than a citabria IMO, but climb is “stately”, lets say.

Im pretty sure i used to fly one that is going to look just like that one day. Water in the right tank every time unless it was totally full of gas and hadn’t rained since filled up. Drain looked about half that bad. What were the symptoms?

This has been a ****ty week. Not sleeping, and super stressed about work. Contractor pulling a fast one on the house while i was gone. Culminating with getting sick. I actually slept close to 8 last night though, so maybe i am out of the woods.
