    Wrong medication

the problem is it was called in. I didnt have a script. Was told by provider what they were going to prescribe but i wasn’t familiar with it so when the wrong med shows up its not as easy for me to catch, as it seems every drug has at least 2 names. When script is taken verbally over the...

    Wrong medication

So about 3 weeks ago, i had a zit on my leg that was getting infected and was about to go offshore so i called and my doc called in an antibiotic fast forward 2 weeks and my wife glances at my bag whilst on vacation and says “what the hell is that?” (She is a nurse). Turns out the pharmacy...

    Ugh.

Speeds are pretty similar and handling in the air is similar. Cherokee variants may seem a little more nose heavy than a skyhawk. Ground handling in a cherokee is better, however you cant see straight behind you. i really think sightlines out of a cherokee are better. Of course 1 door vs...

    Ugh.

Skyhawk to archer should be quite easy. And will make you a better pilot.

    Seabear L65

Its not practical but i would love a seaplane. A couple of seareys are near me - owned by friends of a friend. The water around here is mostly brackish or salt so not super friendly to mechanical things. I want to get my ASES rating for my 45th birthday but with young kid i am not flying...

    Seabear L65

I found this on YouTube the other day. Looks like tremendous fun and at least a little practical too. Has anyone heard of them? Apparently some semi-famous Australian aviator had one built for him. http://www.seabearaircraft.com/ also, please note the obligatory “I am not affiliated in any way”

    Bridge collapse

Well it did look cool - i guess concrete is preferred in south Florida for the obvious reason of corrosion. I can see how it would be difficult to figure the shear capacity of those angled junctions.

    Bridge collapse

Review engineer said there weren’t enough hours in the budget to review the truss nodes (where it failed). I just think the design engineers outsmarted themselves. They went to a lot of trouble to make a cool-looking bridge that collapsed before they put anything on it.

Does anyone make a 5 seater airplane or is it only 6?

How far back you willing to go? Is the cirrus not 5 seat?

    cogscreen question

An IQ test is a point in time. I know there is research to back them but I think there are better measures of ability. Achievement, for example. Good luck.

    Texas Helicopters Collide, 10/23

Maybe so, but I am unaware of circumstances under which that would be legal in Texas. Unless it was done at the behest of TPWD.

    Texas Helicopters Collide, 10/23

I have heard of that but i dont know much about it. I would guess counting is more frequent than netting. At least in TX. Probably moving exotic species that were sold.

    I didn’t know this about the MiG-29

Ok that’s badass. Leave the runway in 3 seconds, break the sound barrier during your 2.5g immelman, then pull to 60 degrees and ride it to 90k, all in 180 seconds
