I don't watch the show regularly, but Bob Newhart was a guest for a while - very entertaining storyline and Newhart himself is hilarious.

He didn't say anything about being at the airport for 40 days. I could probably charter a flight from my home drome to the "big" airport for less than 40 days of parking there, never mind Uber...

Not much to say here other than to comment about insurance costs;we (three PPL-IR 400, 500, 1500hr each) have found the insurance to be very reasonable for our early SR22, despite not being pro pilots. I would imagine that the above comment is important when comparing this op to a Pt. 135...

Bob or Sterling?

2009 3 hatchback. 160k miles and it’s never seen a flatbed, consistent with other 3’s of the same generation. I know a few people with newer 3’s and cx5s and all are happy. The cx5 is kinda boring compared to the Tiguan we ultimately went with, but, it’s German. Never again.

Got really nice conditions late season this year - I think that it was a record year for days open. Always fun.

I have trouble with the plates, particularly in bad lighting or with (I think) faded plates but I got 9/10. Not bad for a guy who was told "no military flying for you" a long time ago... The sorting test has never been an issue but I wasn't aware of that option at the time...

Avidyne EMS started with SN #435 (or so). This is an early G2. No analogue gauges.

Seems to me that there were other changes (lightweighting, pressurization improvements, auto-deploying o2 masks for pax) that would prevent the G1 from being upgraded for the increase in performance (weight, altitude)...
