The PS Engineering 450B is not a transmitter. If ATC is having an issue, it will be related to transmitted signal strength. Make sure that all antenna connections are good. Take it to an avionics shop.

Open the box and see if has a USB wifi chip or is the wifi built into the Pi (later models). The build in wifi seems to work better. If it has the USB chip, get a new wifi chip and replace. These were about $12 or so. Use the same brand or check the Stratux site for recommended modules.

The STC will be pricey and you may have difficulty in finding a dealer willing to install a used autopilot. I would get a price on the STC and talk to the potential installer before making a decision.

You can try attaching a ferrite filter over the wire going to the 12v outlet. These are cheap on Amazon and just snap around the wiring. You do need to match to the diameter of the wiring.

I am betting that you have never replaced your vacuum hoses and they have interior deterioration which are contaminating your new instruments. If they are over 20 years old, replace them. Took 4 feet of hose to replace mine and you are permitted to change them out yourself.

Have you already looks for bad drivers and USB conflicts? If you are using 3rd party drivers on the devices, delete those and use the Windows drivers. You can always reinstall them if you need them.
