I'd like to take her to the hangar hotel!

My first solo flight was last month. It was about 15 miles. I was sweating bullets from the time I saw the heavy land right before my take off to the time I put the airplane back in the hangar. Good luck with a 1,000 mile first solo. If it happens it will be interesting to say the least.

Oh my that must have really hurt. Those trucks don't have much give once the engine comes in contact with the other car or the frame. I bet it looked pretty good considering. Bad choices. There better be jail time involved. It is a huge responsibility to drive a big heavy vehicle like that...

PilorGe0, that has sparked my memory. I have used TestDisk and Recuva. TestDisk worked better if I recall correctly. Back in the day I paid for a utility to recover stuff off an SD Card, it was cheap and it worked well. Give it a try. Just don't write to the disk and you will be ok.

first step - don't touch it! Dont write to it at all, even the safe eject stuff. I have successfully recovered formatted usb drives before. Dont remember what software I used, but lots of them will work. try this one...

I am really happy, the airplanes are awesome and tach time rules. If you taxi at 1,000 rpm or less it is free - the tach barely moves. The M20E and Archer II will be on line by the end of the month. Super excited.
