Still stand by my comment that they currently can not and are not used in farming. On my current F150 driving highway speed not towing I can go over 700 miles before refueling, can’t do that in an EV.

Aren’t all major transport trains electric but run diesel powered generators for the electricity. That’s true, unfortunately electric vehicles/tractors have no place at this time in a farming operation of any type.

It will be quite awhile before you see any of these electric trucks being used by a farmer. They can’t tow for any distance or haul much of a load before needing a charge. Would be good for a city truck though that doesn’t haul anything but groceries

My quick exercise flights usually last about 40 min with at least 20+min at 180. I figure that should be enough, plus I always open the dip stick for what that's worth if anything.

Thanks, If i am just exercising my plane I fly until my temps reach 180, then head back to the field.

I’ve heard the 1 hour time by many mechanic. I would think once your oil hits operating temp for a bit you would be fine. As long as your engine is running you are pumping more contaminants in. There is a point of demising return If you are out to exercise your plane.

Your pcp is your family doctor that you go to for all your medical needs. He knows or should know everything about you and have all your records. How can he know less than an aero medical doc doing a class 3 that only makes you pee in a cup and look at a chart and has no medical records of you...

True, but your PCP should be doing all the other things that are never done for a 3rd class medical if the physician is worth their weight in salt.

From the Third class medicals I have had they are NOT very complete and you are really an unknow from a medical perspective. If you go basic med with your primary care physician you will at least get blood work and routine check ups. Going 3rd class you pee in a cup and look at a color chart

I was told to put the ashes in a good paper bag, tie a string on it really well about 5 feet long, then let it go. The bag will break when it hits the end of the string. Pull the empty bag back in. Done no mess.
