Busted the Bravo (Not me though)

I guess it is 'workload permitting'. My dad recently got called by an inspector over a possible deviation (it was quickly decided no deviation occurred after the inspector listened to the tapes). No PD warning was given on frequency.

He may still get contacted by the FAA. You no longer necessarily get told to call a number.

Exposing loved ones to the risks associated with GA

The vast majority of GA accidents happen because the pilot did something that was bonehead stupid. Flying over gross, running out of fuel, VFR into IMC, severe weather, showboating, etc. If you're making a flight-related decision, ask "how would this read in the NTSB report?". If the answer is...

    Follow-up on Attractive

It's not at all unrealistic to think that she put the whole bill or at least the majority of it on some combination of loans.

Graduating with a quarter million or worse in student loan debt that's co-signed by the taxpayer when the same degree and ratings could be had for a quarter the price elsewhere is really stretching the boundaries of "fine".

They don't. But if they force you to stop recording under threat of certificate action, you have nothing TO post.

They're actually scheduled 135. But he does show passengers in the background which would explain the need for "FAA approval".

Great Angel Flight on Monday from Michigan to Wisconsin...

Photobucket has lost their ever-loving minds with expecting $399 for external linking (and has broken every forum on the internet in the process). Imgur seems to be the most popular replacement.

    Cirrus stall spin?

No, I never said that anywhere in this thread. In fact I haven't mentioned the PHAK at all, and it hasn't been called the FTH in a long time. For what it's worth, the PHAK says the same thing that the AFH says (the 300 foot statement). Your statement was that this was all a bunch of opinion. I...

    Cirrus stall spin?

AC 90-66A says: h. Airplanes remaining in the traffic pattern should not commence a turn to the crosswind leg until beyond the departure end of the runway and within 300 feet below traffic pattern altitude, with the pilot ensuring that the turn to downwind leg will be made at the traffic...
